Translation jobs are quoted on the number of words in the original document, its format, degree of linguistic specialization and delivery deadline. Please send a message to request a price quote and take the following criteria into account:

Before starting any job, it is necessary to stipulate all the delivery and payment terms and conditions agreed upon by the translator and the client.

Average output on a working day is 2,000 words of the original document. Any job requiring more than the daily average, work on weekends or public holidays to meet the delivery deadline requested by the client will be considered as a rush job and will be subject an additional 30% over the normal rate.

The minimum rate for texts shorter than 250 words is $30 US dollars or the equivalent in Mexican pesos.

Lengthy projects will require an agreement on partial delivery and payment dates.

If the client prefers specific, technical or generally-used terms, he or she must furnish the translator with the corresponding glossary when sending the document for translation.

Payment must be made on delivery of the translation and never more than 15 working days after the delivery date.

Interpretation jobs are charged according to the specific characteristics and duration of the work day. With very few exceptions, interpretation requires the work of a team of two professionals. Please ask for a list of interpretation rates here and take the following criteria into account:

The interpreter and client must agree on the conditions and terms of the interpretation services at least one week before the event date. Cancellations made less than three days before the event will be charged at 20% of the agreed payment.

Payment must be made at the end of the work sessions and never more than 15 working days after the delivery date.
